AT

At : 1. ఒక ఖచ్చితమైన సమయం తెలపటానికి (point of time )

  Ex : I  came here at 9 O’ clock.
            నేను ఇక్కడికి 9 గంటలకు వచ్చాను . 
          He was reading  at 4 a.m. 
          అతను పొద్దున 4 గంటలకు చదువుతున్నాడు. 
Note : Weekend, month end, end of the day  కి కూడా 'at '  వాడాలి . ఎదుకంటే అది కూడా ఒక particular point of time ని సూచిస్తుంది 
Ex : what you are going to do at this weekend ?
         ఈ weekend కి నువ్వు  ఏమి చేయబోతున్నావు .?

      2.  ఏ 'పూట' అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు (a point during the day)
          I completed my home work at night. 
          నేను నా హోంవర్క్ ని రాత్రి పూర్తి చేశాను. 
      3. పండుగలు లేదా క్యాలెండరు లో ఒక సందర్భం జరిగేఅప్పుడు 
          We eat sweets at Diwali 
          Diwali పండగకి మేము స్వీట్స్ తింటాము . 
      4. ఆ వయస్సు లో అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు (a specific age)
            Many children start school at 5 
           చాలా  మంది  పిల్లలు తమ ఐదవ ఏట బడికి వెళతారు . 
       5. ఆ సమయం లో అని సాదరనంగా చెప్పేటప్పుడు. (at that time )
           I was not there at that time. 
         
       6. ఒక ఖచితమైన  Place ని చెప్పేటప్పుడు 
                (specific location or place)

          The dog is at the corner of the room. 
          ఆ కుక్క room లో  ఒక చివరన ఉన్నది . 
          There is no one at the reception. 
          అక్కడ reception వద్ద ఎవరు లేరు . 
      7. firms, companies, workplaces and educational institutions లో              ఉన్న విషయాన్ని కూడా చెప్పే అప్పుడు at ని వాడతారు . 
          Are you working at google ?
          మీరు google కంపెనీ లో పనిచేస్తున్నారా ?
          I am at college? నేను కాలేజీ వద్ద ఉన్నాను. (అంటే college లో                   ఉన్నను అనే చెప్తున్నట్టు)

      Note : Class లో ఉన్నాను అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు మాత్రం, in ని వాడాలి 
               Mobile phones are not allowed in the class.  

    
       8. ఒక Address ని  సూచించేటప్పుడు, (referring an address)
          He staying at H No 32, Sharadanagar ramanthapur,                             hyderabad. 
         
       9. Public places, saloon, Clinic, వద్ద అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు 
            I am at the bustand 
            నేను బస్టాండ్ వద్ద  ఉన్నాను. 
            I am at the dentist. 
            నేను dentist వద్ద ఉన్నాను 
    10. group activities (కొంత మంది  కలిసి చేసే activities ని                                సూచించేటప్పుడు) 
     11. I met him at the party. 
            నేను అతడిని పార్టీ లో కలిసాను . 
            I have given speech at the opening ceremony.
            నేను opening ceremony లో speech ఇచ్చాను . 
     12. మనం ఒక పని  చేయడంలో దిట్ట లేదా ఒక పని మనం బాగా                          చేస్తాము లేదా ఆ పని అసలు మంచిగా చేయడం రాదు అని చెప్పడానికి            adjective + at ని వాడతాము. 
            
        I am good at drawing . 
        నేను drawing బాగా వేస్తాను . 
        He  is  brilliant at handling staff 
        అతను staff ని మేనేజ్ చేయడం లో దిట్ట 
        Ramu is good at bluffing. 
        Ramu  అబద్దాలు ఆడడంలో దిట్ట. 
        I am not good at English. 
        నాకు అంతగా ఇంగ్లీష్ రాదు . / నేను English lo weak అనే చెప్పడానికి         ఇలా చెప్పొచ్చు 
    13. Speed లేదా ఏదైనా rate ని తెలపటానికి 
        He is driving the car at 100 kmph. 
        అతను car ని 100 kmph లో నడుపుతున్నాడు. 
        His heart is beating at 50 beats per minute . 
        అతని గుండె 50 BPM రేటు తో కొట్టుకుంటుంది. 
        Today 's onion price is at 60 per kg. 
        ఈ రోజు ఉల్లిపాయల ధర  కిలో కి 60 రూపాయలు గ         ఉంది. 
    14. కొన్ని సందర్భాలలో ఒకరి వైపు/ఒకరి మీద అనే                చెప్పేటప్పుడు కూడా  verb + at వాడతారు. 
          Raju is waving at varshita.
         రాజు వర్షిత వైపు చేయి ఊపుతున్నాడు .                  (పిలవటానికి లేదా హాయ్ చెప్పటానికి చేయి             ఊపుతున్నాడు అని అర్థం ) . 
          Principle sir is shouting at gopi. 
          ప్రిన్సిపల్ గారు Gopi మీద అరుస్తున్నారు. 
          He threw the ball at the stumps 
          అతను ball ఇన్ని stumps మీదకి విసిరాడు. 
    15.  Buildings, ని సూచించేటప్పుడు మరియు మరి                 కొన్ని  fixed nouns కి, అంటే ఆ Nouns కూడా                 బిల్డింగ్    లాంటివే అయితే, వాటిని                                 సూచించటానికి "at " నీ  వాడుతాము. 
 ఉదాహరణకి,
 Home, School, church, temple, office, store,                     Supermarket, mall, movies, doctor's office, dentist's office,                 library, university, Work etc. 

              I am at school.
